Robin Selden, Managing Partner & Executive Chef, Marcia Selden Catering & Events
Robin Selden is the Executive Chef and Managing Partner of award-winning Marcia Selden Catering & Events and Naked Fig Catering, bringing extraordinary celebrations to life throughout Connecticut, New York City, and beyond. Alongside her brother Jeffrey, she leads a powerhouse team producing over 1,100 events annually, where bold creativity, exceptional hospitality, and a whole lot of passion come together to create delicious memories!
Named one of The Knot’s 100 Most Inspiring People in the Wedding Industry, Robin is a past President of the International Caterers Association, a recipient of its prestigious Chef of the Year honor, a National Board Ambassador for Make-A-Wish, and a founding member of the American Cancer Society’s Women Leading the Way to Wellness.
A passionate mentor and industry trailblazer, Robin is celebrating her 12th year teaching Catering and Special Events at Cornell University and also shares her expertise with students at Boston University's School of Hospitality.
A sought-after speaker and longtime Catersource emcee, Robin is known for her infectious energy, fearless creativity, and larger-than-life personality. A self-proclaimed "party girl at heart," she believes in leading with passion, coming from a place of YES, and making every experience unforgettable.
When she's not creating magic in the kitchen or on the event floor, Robin loves spending time with her husband Michael, their family, and their two beloved goldendoodles.
